Just never buy shoes at night. I bought three mtumba pairs hapo tajmall usiku kwa hawkers. Why three? These were brands I had been hunting for months. A few months down the line, one pair morphed shape to resemble my unbalanced feet, the other started peeling even though it was supposed to be leather, while the last one burst the sole in half while still in the wardrobe. Conclusion: they were brand new Chinese knockoffs disguised as mitumba. I still see the con who sold me the shoes hapo transami.
