THE TOYOTA IDIOCY

First off, in compliance with rules of natural engagement, i am biased. My hate for Toyota is one sided.. and unfair to it.

Well, not unfair. Certainly not unfair.

I am a fast driver. On city roads you'd see me drive and wonder 'sasa huyu anaenda wapi ..ngoja tu tumpate pale mbele ameshikwa kwa jam'

haha.. dude, you wont catch me.. nikikupita nimekupita.

and it mirrors my life.. i am too fast.. i get frustrated when someone doesnt grasp something on the first take..

This characteristic is what informs my judgement of which car i buy over the years. My car has to have an impressive NCAP.. It has to be stable at the speeds i do (above 140). It has to be agile. It has to have power size yake ..sitaki kukuovertake usikie my engine ikilia as if inateswa.

it has to be over 3000cc Diesel.

Whenever i consider a Toyota.. hata ile Vigo ..it fails greatly..

I also hate the fact that Toyota only changes the shells of their vehicles with the same stupid engine, gives it a different name..and up the sticker price.

I ferking hate that... its theft.

So whenever i see a Toyota in my rear view mirror trying to catch up i feel like spitting in the driver's mouth.. or trying kunifungia nisiovertake

I may die in a car, and yall find me with the gauge stuck on 170.. atleast 170 ..its possible, God elects how we die.. but if i have to plea for something ...please let it not be a Toyota..

Get an accident in a Toyota ..and you will be broken up like you were in a nduthi

incase i forgot to say it, well, i ferking hate Toyota..

All these investments in our road network being wasted by Toyotas

Never drive Toyotas myself. But i find some Toyotas pretty solid. Look at the Landcruisers (proper ones wachana na prado), the crown sedan. The only common place TOY i rather liked was the older IST. Drove one on MSA road on a Sunday afternoon. 1NZFE (1500cc) was responsive like bloody hell, was so nimble and sweet. Had disc brakes all round. Experience is still fresh years later.

Don't like Toyota, but i never say never. That is all.

BTW, the only thing that wows me about the car manufacturer is the way they have their cheap cars are full of options. You get the same model with rear beam suspension with drums, double wishbones and discs. No other Japanese auto maker does that.

i will keep my suby until i am ready for a Nismo Patrol.

I WANT A NISMO PATROL!!!

but i agree with corpral mkush in his olinjino post; gari ni lazima iwe nimble and fast. and you can only get that in a flat 4 turbo charged boxer engine.

Bingwa, kama hii si kelele tuu… kindly weigh in on engine ya Toyota 2jz inline 6 na 1 uz V8.
I have had the pleasure of using both in a modified jalopy and I have zero complaints.

The 2jz is superior.

It is a powerplant ..you can basically triple its horsepower and it would still run like a baby.. the V8 replaced it ju its smooth but really for car connoisseurs you need an engine that allows you to tune beyond your imagination and basically non-limitting horsepowers under the bonnet

Right now it would be stupid to replace a 2jz with a v8

Thats my opinion

Dude, ever hear the adage, 'There is no replacement for displacement?'
The 1uz is doing more work that the 2jz at even lower revvs.
