The new highways and bypasses

The other night while traveling to Naks, I used the western bypass and past Ruaka, there was a body, no doubt a victim of hit and run accident, some data that I came across relating to accidents in the recent past, shows a spike in traffic accidents of hit and run nature, all happening in the newly constructed highways and bypasses. Seems that the contractors are yet to construct pedestrian bridge and crossings, leaving the public to cross haphazardly.
Although the accident in most cases are affecting adult males, most of whom have impaired judgement due to imbibing the second generation brews, found in centers most of whom are yet to master crossing the now expanded highways while under the influence.
For public safety and knowing the kind of public that we have, the road crossings should be put in place and the other areas along the highway, fenced off with a barbed wire topping Ala Thika road to prevent Kamikaze dash by the sheeple.

Yesterday papers said 32 folks died in January alone, pedestrians, all were hit near a footbridge. They said situation will be worse by December. Point is ,it requires collective responsibility from everyone, speed limit in built up areas is supposed to be 50, but wakenya ni nani.

Hehehe, mentioning the body was the source of the story, the main story was about the numerous accidents in the new highways and how they can be prevented. A fine day to you too Sir.

@QuadroK4000 kujia word for the day.
food that has been chewed and mixed in the mouth with saliva. ... The term bolus applies to this mixture of food and solutions until they are passed into the stomach. Once the bolus reaches the stomach, mixes with gastric juices, and becomes reduced in size, the food mass becomes known as chyme.

tabia zingine hapa kama za Skampaka sometimes make me feel like i want regurgitate a Bolus

If you were a ruminant you would definitely chew after regurgitating it!

95% of accidents involving pedestrians could be avoided if people used their brains.
Kama Thika Road na Outering you still have people dashing across sababu footbridge iko mbali sana.
They rationalize that the 1 minute they will save is worth the risk of being hit by a vehicle moving at 120 kph
