You mean lake Kamnarok? Ive never seen baringo or bogoria from that spot.The best thing about the view point at Iten is probably seeing lakes Baringo and Bogoria in their entirety on a clear day.

Huko kerio valley, baringo and nearby areas there's the invasive tree prosopis/mathenge and locals are being encouraged to burn charcoal to control the weedy tree.
