Taps from hand washing area in Uhuru Park stolen

Then we are loudest to blame politicians for stealing public funds. Most kenyans steal if given an opportunity. Civil servants steal time by hanging coats on their chairs and disappearing for the rest of the day. Doctors and nurses steal medicine. Truck drivers steal fuel. The headmaster steals through dubious school projects. The fundi will steal from you by using substandard materials. Your kids will steal from you by giving you a fake fee structure. Stealing is in our DNA.

Nimesema na nitasema - Kenyans are their own worst enemies. Despite being in THE MOST PROSPEROUS BLACK ECONOMY IN THE WORLD, they always use poverty to excuse their primitive behaviour. The average Rwandese is much, much poorer than the average Kenyan, but you won't see this kind of stupid behaviour there. Just try installing good washrooms in your restaurant and see - people will steal kutoka cisterns, door handles, taps, mirrors etc unashindwa, god, is this even normal?

What if we implemented the chop chop rule, chop off hands if caught stealing?

Sasa na Uhuru Park ni den ya street-families why would we expect they would ignore e easy cash? That park isnt even a place you would want to go spend time in, it reeks of urine and feels like there could be shit in the grass if you arent keen, those families need to be moved out of the CBD.

Whatever system we adopt it is up to us to uphold it.
