BRITAM TOWER. The tower is owned by British-American Investments Company (Britam). The skyscraper has a maximum height of 195 metres, above ground, with 32 usable floors. it was designed by GAPP Architects RSA / Triad Architects Kenya.

GTC stands at 184 metres above the ground but has the highest number of usable floors (42-floors). It has 11 high speed lifts, hosts GTC Tower office building, 514 Residences, a Mall + a luxury hotel (JW Marriott). It is the headquarters of AVIC International.

UAP Old Mutual Tower is a 33-storey office complex. It became the tallest structure in Kenya upon its completion in 2015. It is owned by UAP Old Mutual Group. The tower was designed by BPM Architects International in collaboration with TRIAD.

The Times Tower, also known as the New Central Bank Tower stands at 140 metres. It has 38 floors, along with a 7-storey banking complex and an 11-split storey car park, it is served by 10 elevators. The building is designed to resist earthquakes. Its Architects was Triad.

The KICC (associated with David Mutiso & Karl Henrik Nøstvik Architects) is the longest record holder for the tallest building in Kenya (26 years). It is the 9th tallest (105 metres; 28 storeys). It succeeded the Hilton (1969 - 1973). Then Teleposta Tower took over in 1999.

Hiyo ya Britam ni upuss considering they erected a very long mast just to surpass UAP.
Anywei, everyone should scale up the viewing deck at KICC coz the panoramic views of Nairobi are amazing. Better viewing experience than even the Burj Khalifa

It is always a competition. The world over,cities compete to have the tallest building in the world.
