Do you remember the story of two Corinthian twins who had married one woman?
You also remember they the Corinthian woman was pregnant, but couldn't tell who's the father coz the two boys used to eat her chain-chain and dry fry, right?

A spoiler has come to deny us the much awaited drama.

So DCI planted Linturi in the woman's room? Oh dear!
I do not like the direction and the trajectory this new administration is taking.
It is almost impossible for a Complainant/Victim in a Criminal Case to withdraw the Case from being adjudicated.
The reason is simply because unlike Civil Cases which are between the Defendant and the Complainant, Criminal Cases are between the State and the Defendant. A Public Prosecutor acts for the State and the Victim is only just a State Witness.

In instances where Victims tries to withdraw such cases, they have to be very careful because the State can accuse them of the serious offences of Wasting Police Time or Perverting the Course of Justice.

In fact in most jurisdictions when a Victim of Crime tries to withdraw, the Prosecution heads straight to the Defendant to seriously investigate whether they are Intimidating the Victim or Bribing the Officials.

In the present case, I can state without any shadow of a doubt or fear of contradiction, that the Victim has been Intimidated with use of force or fear of death!
