It very very likely Sonko will be back, kwanza in a big flamboyant way. He may be down politically right now but he has not been finished financially.

The fact thay Sonko meekly took himself to State House and signed a one-sided docunent tells us who wields raw power. It was also telling that the 'man on the street' that Sonko claims is his army, went totally mute and did not take up placards and twigs to protest.

You can quote all you want, but the truth is that Sonko's corruption charges were probably real and just the tip of the iceberg. He made himself blackmail-able by abusing the little power he got.
The reason why the ordinary voter does not come out in his defence is because they have seen him flaunting gold, showing off his mansions and foreign shopping trips as they face the bedbugs and floods in their cardboard shacks. They cannot relate.

True power resides in the boardrooms of banks, corporate share-holding and old connections. Sonko's legal woes come and go at Uhuru's whims.
