Ruto barred from flying out of the country

Set aside the broken UhuruRuto bromance, Uhuru-Raila handshake, BBI Chieth, 2022 pork barrel politics, Dr. Ruto is still a deputy/vice-president to someone. Where in the world do you find a deputy with a ‘Uta-Do ? ‘’ attitude towards his boss kama our DP, Dr.Ruto. There is no Co-Presidency in Kenya hata Baba reluctantly accepted that factor after Kibaki successfully showed him the middle finger.

Even a secondary school principal or a village cattle dip caretaker would never let his/her deputy wake up every morning to do what ever he/she likes with impunity. Tiiga Wana captured this attitude better than any one of us since the UhuruRuto Tano-Tena hit political storms. An insubordinate and recalcitrant deputy.

The question I have for Kenyans, would Founding President Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, baba wa taifa would have let his Vice-President (DP), Daniel Toiritich Arap Moi to tanga tanga in foreign capitals meeting foreign presidents without his express permission ? Baba wa taifa was known to cane some wayward adults in his cabinet.

Until he gets elected President, DP Ruto should respect the institution of the Presidency and support State protocols.

Why are you promptly ignoring the fact that Ruto and Uhuru won because they had a similar agenda and one without the other wouldn't have won.
Yes Uhuru is president but it's not an ordinary superior-based relationship because Ruto being his vice was not a favour!

Madharau tumeona alionyeshwa but isorait tu coz Kenyans might be humble but definitely not foolish.

Why do you think Ruto called everybody apart from his immediate Official Boss?

where is the policy that says Ruto must call uhuru to travel, he was advised to call head of civil service, which he did according to the excerpts shared above

My friend, I respect your personal perspective. You are totally right that without partnering with Ruto, Uhuru would never have been elected President in 2013. Only a fool would dispute that fact in Kenya. Uhuru is where he is due to the political heavy lifting his running mate did in the election campaigns.

As far as I know, the nature of the presidency is that Uhuru is superior to Ruto for all intends and purpose in the Presidency !

I think the relationship between President Uhuru and Deputy President Uhuru would be intact if DP understood that once elected, the President has no political co-President. The experiment of UhuruRuto ‘Co-Presidency in their first term was doomed to fail from day one.

Dr. Ruto is a deputy like any other person and in his case, derives his day-to-day powers from delegated powers from the President of the Republic of Kenya and the CIC of the Armed Forces. Period.

Why would you want to keep your immediate and Reporting Officer in the dark that you were travelling abroad unless you wanted to show some disrespect?

President was out, DP couldn't be out at the same time. There was some delay coz somebody thought they could wait since they had info he was on the way. 5 hours later, no info. The rest could proceed, but one couldn't. Rules are rules, and somebody stuck by them. Kudos.

but kwa telly ruto himself has just insisted there are people out to frustrate him, na akasema amewaachia mungu, tune on any citizen brand for the interview. So nobody can really speculate the reason why
