Next UK prime minister.

Penny Mordaunt has pulled out. She was favourite two months ago to replace Boris.
Boris Johnson pulled out yesterday night. But anyway, even if he vied, by December angekuwa nje!

Rishi is good for the economy. But Boris was better for the party. 2024 conservatives watachinjwa na labor.

He was pushed out of labour leadership, accused him of anti-semitism
Labour, then has been too much in the cold that I no longer follow. Always wanted him to ascend to the top but knew it would be hard when his star shone brightest during the last days of Cameron's reign considering the overhanging Brexit cloud.

Elected by who?

Is this the "democracy" they keep pushing down our throats?
You are just hating. I wish our democracy would be at their levels. They elect the party, and the party is not individual ka hapa. And if you dont perform, the party throws you out before elections sio ka huku where president anashika parliament na judiciary makei, and there's nothing you can do about it.

Nothing unusual. Boris Johnson, Theresa May also became prime ministers same way. If the party loses confidence in you they get another person
Not true. The party members voted for the previous ones. This one has been installed by the MPs only ( And not all). They knew he would not pass the party members vote because they rejected him just seven weeks ago. As we speak huge numbers have cancelled their membership, and many more theatening to leave. The Tory party is dead!

Had they gone to party members like they did for Truss, Johnson would have won and by December he would have been thrown out. His investigation starts next month. The 100 MPs bar was quite necessary. The party has 320+ MPS, clearly Sunak got majority backing

Is there a guarantee that he's going to last now?Johnson had most of the Mps votes before even the party members voted for him but they still back stabbed him and kicked him out. Truss had 113 Mp votes so she wasn't that unpopular either. Even if Sunak is not forced out he will not win the General election because the British public does not like him and he is also very unpopular with party members. All in all, what they did to the party members, who do the dirty work for them was undemocratic.

Also, he wasn't even the Mps first choice, they wanted Johnson back:D

Tories aren't winning the election doesn't matter who they put. That story of Johnson being MPs first choice is a lie. The information out there is that he didn't even get the backing of more than 60 MPs.
