Reports of clashes between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Ethiopian National Defense Forces (ENDF)

There are reports of clashes between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Ethiopian National Defense Forces (ENDF) in the disputed border region of al-Fashaka. Sudan Tribune reporters claim that the Sudanese Armed Forces have allegedly seized several settlements and captured Ethiopian soldiers.

Some media outlets claim that the Sudanese Armed Forces struck ENDF positions east of Barakat Norin in al-Fashak.

Eyewitnesses also report the closure of the al-Gallabat checkpoint, which connects Sudan and Ethiopia.
