In my hustle of inspecting my potatoes farm...

I came across a colony of ants

On closer inspection, I noticed there are some insects similar to nguya which were flying around. And the ants weren't eating them as they would normally do to an intruder.

And my farmhand explained to me that these are the queens who lay ant eggs.
Apparently, it has rained too much and their den is wet. That is why they are coming out. And if you see one, then you are going to be lucky. Since I saw hundreds, nataka kuwekelea bet.
Nipewe odds.
I think this is a different ant species, zile queen's za under ground are big...hata 2 inches...maybe hizi ni queen za hizo za Kikuyu, sausage ants

I normaly see the ones flying across to my faurescent tube but I never knew they are refered to as sausage ants(new word for me)

What about what the wesdern guys call Machichi With big behind((abdomen?)&(thin thorax)) na si kumbekumbe Its usually black in color or navy blue. They come out kukinyesha for the first time and flying round in western kenya? Its a delicacy also to these communities.

In my appreciation for poetry and some few works here and there I write things which coincidentally are pieces of art.

I had to pay merriam webster a visit and sew doesn't fit rather saw,for sawed or sawn.
Which is nowhere near the past tense of see. Or what does poetry and prose writing self think?

If I had written I had sewn(sewed) something as such but I didn't view it as thread material I would have killed you grammar Nazis.

Long live the allies(which is me,myself&I)

Ideally, thurakus are a farmer's friend.
Snails, cutworms, rabbits, porcupines, dogs and other menaces are kept at bay.
