I had to be conversant with a stick shift vehicle, this is because at my work station one of our driver fell sick, the other was on leave, while the third had gone home due to a familial emergency.
Ushawahi ona 34 clueless guys a third of whom were conversant with automatic transmission, but couldn't drive the manual vehicle (none of which is below 4500CC), ilikuwa inazima na kulia khuu!
We had to borrow a driver from the county level, jamaa aliongea mbaya "Afande kwani nyinyi wote munaendeshaga gari za viwete(automatic)?". There and then I swore never again will I be at the mercy of others when it comes to manual drive.

Automatic husaidia sana, kwanza kama unachapa nariobi-busia and back kila weekend. Nilijaribu manual once nikajiona mjinga kupindukia.

You'll mostly be cruising at the top gear depending on traffic conditions. Town driving in a manual is the more hectic one

What is the point of buying a vehicle if you have to 'walk' ndani yake ukikanyanga clutch na mafuta? Surely! Soon we shall be going hands free, wengine with our girlfriends smooching in the back seat gari ikijiendesha yenyewe. Aah. It shall be nice.
