It`s 6 am on my way to the plantation, nakutana na msururu wa wamama na mavijanaa wanaelekea kwa caravan ya MP aspirant kupigia watu kelele siku mzima mpaka 8pm for what, a tshirt and 100bob at the end of the day. Now this aspirant is promising ridiculous impossible things for an MP:
1. Full bursary applied for per applicant. Sasa nashindwa where in his mind does he expect to get this kind of money to dish out like this, given that bursary allocation is a function of applicant numbers. And in a densely populated constituency means everybody gets less for equitable distribution, or a select few get everything like in sparsely populated North Eastern constituencies. Lakini utakuta watu wakisema eeeeeeh uyu niwe mundu
2. Water 24/7 unless he has figured out a way working water infrastructure this is impossible. You can be blessed enough to live in a place where water rationing has never been heard of, but kwa hawa watu wanapigia huyu jamaa campaign don`t they ask vile watapewa maji hii wanaahidiwa and it`s a function completely out of his control unless dig boreholes and people loine up na mitungi?
Peana hekaya ya some of the promises watu wanaahidiwa na MP aspirants that`s just stupid. Usilete Presidential aspirants hapa, the divide is just too much silly and stupid on that plus has been discussed a gazillion times before.
