Guys. Today I went around some car yards because I have been thinking of buying another car for a while. I got into one yard pale caryards za Lavington and I was extremely impressed by the interior of the vehicle. It had a dark interior, heated leather seats, double sunroof etc. Seemed very luxurious inside. I would have taken photos but I didn't want to look like a creep. My question is, what is the main drawback of a Murano?? Why isn't it popular yet it would put most Toyotas (Vanguard, Harrier, Rav-4 etc) to shame in terms of the interior quality?? Is there a solid reason why Muranos aren't common in Kenya??

Coz most informed guys look at Nissan and remember they source their CVT transmission from Jatco which is utter shit and made from soft butter compared to other CVT transmission such as the ones made by Honda which are more reliable and bullet proof. Reason why we have seen so many Nissan complaints.

This is more of preconceived notions. Mrs. Mzeiya has been using a Nissan for years and I envy how reliable it has served her.

Yeah actually experiences tend to differ, there is a period when the new gearboxes were a problem. My sister in law has a Note and my bro is a motor head who does all the service. But the car gearbox has really stressed him up. Which model and year is your Missus using is it CVT or automatic?

Nissan Note 2011 auto. Manze it does 14km/l and can go as high as 19km/l for out of town driving. Very efficient

we source most of or cars from japan, and thus the trend in japan also affects the cars we get here, common cars here tend to have been the best sellers in japan 6/7 years prior.
The murano has never been among the top sellers in Japan so the units that are available huku tend to be fewer, had a friend who had it around 2013 hapo, and they still have it had a few issues hapa na pale but nothing major, found it to be a nice car though it did not seem to do well on rough roads, so if your commute involves a rough dusty stretch of road it might deteriorate way faster, body noises and such.
