Nimesema mara mingi sana, Kenyatta Inc has their proboscis injected into the Nairobi County coffers. Not only that, they need fast approvals for their small small projects around the county which would not be possible with a rogue governor.

Why then would they do away with Tim, a perfect candidate, even better than sakaja in my opinion, for Igathe, a corporate puppet with no numbers. They vote needs to be protected heavily by UDA in this county because they will definitely try to rig.

One angle reasoning. You need to know just like kafogo, Muturi or even close family members, Sakaja is Uhuru's close personal friend. It is Uhuru who nominated Sakaja to Parliament in 2013. And yes, just like his family, Sakaja was deep in the KemSa scandal. As who? Only family members and close buddies got a chance. By bringing in Igathe means Nairobi's front runners are his choice- a win win in his book. That's why they don't want Tim....who is an ODM guy. The bigger picture here is finishing ODM

The narrative of Igathe being an elitist candidate who gives up quickly is already gaining traction.
On the other hand, the hustler message is not easy to ignore for most ordinary folk who make for the largest chunk of Nairobi's voters.

Interesting times ahead.

A principled person wouldn't work under a moron thats Sonko. Sonko was a thief and a charlatan. He is toxic and murks around. People who think that Igathe should have stayed on and continued deputizing Sonko probably deserve Sonko. They probably deserve the other whining thief who loudly complains about lack of performance in government which he fails to resign from.

The question of who brought the other to the table does not even arise. Half if not all of the active politicians have betrayed the people who brought them out of obscurity.

The question here is, why Nairobi?

Sonko was a Jubilee Governor, wasn't he? Why then was he forced to hand over functions to an entity that has just recently been declared unconstitutional? Why Kananu? Did we even hear anything from her after she was sworn in or was the county being run from statehouse? Later on the unconstitutional entity's mandate was extended a few months into the next governor's term.

Why NMS? This is what I want to know.

I think so. Actually if each of them field a candidate, then UDA'S candidate will win by 10AM. He lost narrowly in 2017 and is very popular Kwa ground. The waria will split their votes and Blacky apite katikati ki kalonzo
