You used to host President Kibaki in London and once served as a DP legislator. Many also attribute your win of Nyeri Town in 1997 to Kibaki. When did you part ways?


Hon Wanyiri Kihoro: Not just that. Wanjiru and I donated Sh16 million for his 2002 campaign, money we fund-raised from friends in London and South Africa and he said then we were fantastic people.
Yet for the two years she lay at Nairobi Hospital, a stone’s throw away from State House Gate B, Kibaki never visited; never sent even a bouquet of flowers nor a get-well a card to Wanjiru.
I never got to see Kibaki in the 10 years he was in power. He is heartless and mean. He does not have a friend in the lower classes. When he attempted to come to Wanjiru’s funeral, I told him to keep off.

Lakini ka economy alijaribu kukainua. Cut him some slack. Most old geezers of his era are very mean. He was so much into elitism , yeye hatambui peasants. They are of the school of thoughts they show you how to fish and not to give you the fish.

I met him when I was a UT teacher huko mashinani. Waalimu wa UT mikono juu! He came to our school for a function and I thank him because we now have a very good school.

When someone helps your society, unafurahia. I will do what he did somewhere in my life.

I ain't hating on Nyeri men, my mom originates from that county and she is a perfect wife to my dad. But generally you guys are like that, my cousins included.

Toa Mwangi wa equity hapo prisssss....toa yeye bila story mingi even age wise ha fit that bracket you've mentioned...how he is where he is...is another story
