Hot after the insult to audiences that was Artemis Fowl, Disney aka Emperor M is back with a new remake of yet another classic animated film, Mulan. And while it's not necessarily horrible or even bad (especially coming off of Gods of Egypt), it's not very good either-- it's just kinda pointlessly forgettable, a film nobody wants or needs, and definitely not worth 30 dollars. And so in today's Anatomy of a Failure, let's take a look at Mulan and compare it to some other similar films like Captain Marvel and Wonder Woman and How to Train Your Dragon to see what it does or doesn't do that prevents it from becoming more than just a vanilla cash grab.
