Mother and son mauled to death

SHOCK in Simur village, Kobiero Location, Ugenya after a mother, 28-years and her one-year-old son were mauled to death by two ferocious, Rottweilers dogs as they were walking along a village path.

The dogs were reported to have escaped from their cage in Siranga village from the home of a Catholic priest before they attacked the victims.

Irked residents killed the dogs on the spot after a woman’s shouts for help drew their attention but by the time they arrived, the dogs had already overpowered and killed them.

The bodies of the woman and her son have been taken to the Ukwala sub-county mortuary and Police are investigating how the dogs escaped from the home and attacked the woman and her son.

Of all the dogs, cant keep Rottweilers and Pitbull

A buddy's sister was mauled by a Rottweiler, by the time they reached her, one boob was gone. She had to go for reconstructive surgery

My fav aunt had to put theirs down, Rottweiler too, after it suffered a memory lapse and was always aggressive/violent towards the hubby.

Former job ya madam, boss's wife was mauled to death. Again, Rottweilers.

I am not an expert, but I understand after 4-5 years, they suffer senility and so cant distinguish their owners from other people.

Why can't their be a law to limit ownership of these aggressive breeds to security institutions only. If a dog can't be a pet then it has no bizness being around people

There are other dogs that have served their purpose well, I personally have been attacked by a different breed of dog, but I cannot condemn all dogs...sometimes owners have been reckless like in this case.

Most developed countries have laws regarding types of dogs to be kept at home, France and UK have gone further banning certain dogs in their soils.

GSDs are very high strung though. And they shed like crazy. Wouldn't recommend it if it's your first time.
