You are right. From what I am seeing here, we have turned into a society of whiners. See the comment from someone who talks about a washed bridge. Probably the road lies in National government. Some lister does not seem to understand that education was not devolved, so the Governor has no business building classrooms. These devolved funds are limited. They will never fix everything. The issue of water, its delivery only works to a small extend in Nairobi, most of you experience water shortage even during the rain season. Had existing infrastructure that came about through donations from foreign governments. I live in Kiambu. No kanju water in most places. No sewer systems where I live. The only bet for a sewer system I guess is Kiambu CBD. Same to Kajiado: Kitengela and Ongata rongai. Donations go a long way to put water and sewer systems in place.


County funds will never maliza these problems. Wacha Governor ajenge white house, abuy Cadillac limos na Boeing aircrafts for their transport.

Let me humour you with a reply, although I will be nasty. Hii ni kufikiria kama mtoto wa miaka tatu. Normally, a country has budget lines for everything. For education, for infrastructure, for education, for disaster relief etc etc. You don't have to stop one thing to do another.

Take this building. Apparently, it cost Sh350m. The county Gavament which has been leasing office space will in the long-run save money by moving in its own premises. Ikianza kujengwa kulikuwa na floods? Na hata hiyo Sh350 million kama ingetumiwa kwa hizo vitu unasema ingetosha?

This is the kind of silly thinking that keeps us back-ward. We can't even allocate money for research and development because it doesn't meet our immediate stomach needs. Unafikiria hakukuwa na watu homeless, starving and poor in the US for example, waki-invest billions in R&D wakienda space na rockets, for instance?

Same silly mentality I have seen people condemning the donation of Sh5 million flowers to a country that has given us billions (and admittedly looted many more). Its as if only 1.764523% of Africans can do strategic thinking. Hawa wengine ni me, me, me, me, kama nyani na bananas. Hiyo ndiyo lugha mnaelewa, short-termism.

It's enough to make anybody mad.........so am sori for being a bit rude...........
