Reminds me of Noah, from 2000-2003 hapo. A small issue was causing engine knock. You put a new one, same thing.
And the solution was a 1k job, labor inclusive.

Am no mechanic, so I can not say authorititively.
But it was something to do with rerouting a certain pipe from over to under something.

The stock head gasket of those diesel engines ndio issue. They are weak. Aftermarket head gasket ndio solution.

Talking Noah and cx5 do u mind shedding some more light into these problems you are saying and their solutions?
How come this is just an issue when it comes in kenya.....if you do a simple google search on the most common problems of that car, gasket never really pops up....the closest they mention is just the radiator cap.
I think the issue hapa kenya is the mechs...wamezoea kufungua engine na kuongeza mashida zingine haziko
