Mary Lincoln

Mary Lincoln's marriage to the famous man was considered to be an awkward pairing by many.
And sure it was, for no sooner had they married than the cracks started to show.
If Mary felt neglected by her husband, she would flirt with his collegues to garner his attention.
On the other hand, he would respond with indifference and focus his energy on the task at hand.
Their tumultous union was always tettering on the brink, like a ship that was about to mutiny.
Despite their troubled marriage, Mary Lincoln was a matriach who held the family together after her husband Abrahama Lincoln- the 16th President of the USA- was assasinated in 1865.
