Man Charged With Hacking NTSA Website, Logbook Forgery

Felix Onyeit was arraigned before Milimani Law courts chief Magistrate Micheni Wendy where he was charged with hacking the NTSA website on July 14, 2022, and willfully procuring a duplicate motor vehicle registration Certificate (Logbook). According to the Court documents, Felix Onyeit on the said date at Nairobi Transport and Safety Authority willfully procured a duplicate logbook for a Toyota Axio of registration number KCC 907L by falsely indicating that he had lost a logbook for the said vehicle registered in the name of Samson Haron Oruchum, a fact he knew to be false. He was also charged with forgery contrary to section 345 of the penal code. Particulars of the charge is that he forged an abstract from police records for a loss of a Logbook. Further, he faced charges of stealing a motor vehicle, where on Ju14, 2022 at upper hill within Nairobi, he stole a motor vehicle, Toyota Axio, registration number KCC 907L valued at Ksh 1.05 million. Appearing before Chief Magistrate Micheni Wendy of Milimani Law courts, the accused denied particulars of the charges and was released on a Bond of Ksh 500,000 with an alternative cash bail of Ksh 300,000.
