Imagine With the way things are going this bill will likely sail through. Some disbursement of NG - CDF will entice them to vote with their stomachs. There some parastatals which will be sold for a song after being deemed to be loss making entities. I foresee Water parstatals and a perpetual loss making power distributing one to be targeted. Remember the head of budget appropriation committee is the largest shareholderto which we already know he is a proxy

I have been thinking about an idea of an app like tik tok and Instagram but instead of just another social media app, this one will be a news app for credible information. Its intended for people who don't have time to buy news papers or sit to watch news that only airs at a certain times of the day, but would like to keep up with current affairs as they happen.
In the app, members get to check boxes of the kind of news the want on their news feed e.g politics, sports, business news...e.t.c, then the algorithm further fine tunes this to precision, based on how much time you spend when reading certain articles and how quickly you scroll past other articles to know what you like more and what kind of news you dislike. You will also have the option of following major media companies and even chose get notified whenever they post something, e.g breaking news.
So, you get to know things through you mobile phone as they happen even before others get to watch them kwa news at night after work
To prevent misinformation and spreading of unverified rumors, only verified accounts of media houses will be allowed to post. E.g citizen, ntv, Al-Jazeera, cnn, BBC e.tc, since they are credible sources. however, members of the app will be allowed to participate in comment sections with likes, dislikes and comments and even tag each other there.
I am yet to figure out how the app can be monetized without boring the members with unnecessary adds.

CNN and BBC are not credible media houses !!! in fact almost ALL western mainstream news media is not credible....as seen on their Russia/Ukraine war reporting
The app already exists. It's called twitter
