Kama utakuwa na gari you can make use of 12v socket plus a cheaper inverter.
Ukipitia Chloride Exide pale Exsan House they have cheap Giandel Inverter that you can use Kwa gari but itabidi ufanye ukarabati on the connections .

Two weeks is a long time to be off-grid, especially when you don't have a limitless budget to throw at the problem. The least expensive solution is to buy a new battery for your laptop. That should give you a few more hours. Try your luck with jiji.co.ke. The next most logical solution is to get a small generator for about 10k. All other solutions might be too expensive for what you are getting from the project.
