A 17-year old polytechnic student last night at Mirera village in Naivasha killed a 33-year old man who had lured him to his house in order to “discipline” him for allegedly sleeping with the deceased’s estranged wife.

The deceased tricked the young man into his trap with a Sh. 10,000 deal but upon entering the house, the jilted husband locked the door. After revealing his plans, a confrontation ensued between the two where the young man snatched a knife from the deceased and slit open his throat.
The police saved the Mirera Polytechnic student from irate neighbours just as they attempted to lynch him.
