Police in Kirinyaga are pursuing a suspected drug dealer for growing bhang in his house.
The suspect went into hiding after learning that the police had discovered that he was growing and peddling the drug in Red Soil village in Mwea constituency.
Nyangati Location Chief Immaculate Wanjiru said the twenty-five-year-old man is a notorious criminal.
The administrator said the officers raided the suspects' home on Saturday evening and uprooted 69 bhang plants which were taken to Wang'uru Police Station. She said the plants will be used as exhibit in court once the suspect is arrested

Police in Isiolo on Tuesday evening seized bhang valued at Sh270, 000 on the Moyale-Isiolo highway and arrested four suspects among them three foreigners.
The 107 stones of bhang, which was being transported from Ethiopia towards Nairobi, were seized by the police at a roadblock on the highway.
The bhang, wrapped in black polythene bags and two kilograms of suspected gemstones had been hidden in the vehicle’s doors according to Isiolo Sub-County Police Commander Moses Owiti.

Administration Police officers in Othaya seized 148 stones of bhang and 60 rolls following a tip off from members of the public.
Inspector George Opere said the officers netted the drug in Karima village, Nyeri South sub-county, estimated to be worth more than Sh150,000 after they searched three homesteads where suspected peddlers were said to be residing.
NAKURU
Police officers in Nakuru seized 2,159 stones of bhang with a street value of Sh2.5 million.
Rongai Deputy County Commissioner Julius Kavita said the bhang was seized on Friday from an abandoned vehicle in Salgaa on the Nakuru-Eldoret highway by officers on patrol.

Prostitution is not illegal. Living off its proceeds us illegal. That is why no woman wants to be a housewife. Infact women should work harder than the men they are married to ndio hiyo ndoa idumu.
