Uhuru is in France to increase our debt, Kenyans, its imperative tujiite ka mkutano.
Dear Kenyan, do you know why Uhuru is in France?
Well, if you don't know.....know this.....the President is in France to enhance talks about loan that was signed last year October worth Kshs 160,000,000,000 public private partnership (PPP) deal.
This deal is for dualling of the 233-kilometer Rironi-Nakuru-Mau Summit Road.
Are we together hadi apo?
Good.
Once the road is complete...the Nakuru-Ma Summit Highway will be a TOLL road.
For those of you who aren't aware...our retarded MPs passed a bill, which became law juzi juzi that enacted something called a "Toll Fund".
This Toll Fund gives government powers to have foreign companies come to Kenya, build roads and charge us for using those roads.
Tuko pamoja hadi apo?
Kenyans, kuna vile wengi wenyu hamuelewi hii maneno. For many of you, as long as you see nice roads...huwa you don't care about the impact those roads will have on your pocket na vile our future generations are being chained by debts.
Kenyans, from today, can you stop being ignorant! You pay taxes...you pay fuel levy...alafu here comes parliament and the executive telling us that we shall be paying to use a road!
Kindly learn to understand how and why you are being taxed and demand for your rights.
Kenyans, a PPP project in this country means that the investor constructing that road won't be able to recoup his or her investment through toll charges. This means the government via the Treasury, will have to chip in so as to meet the shortfall.
Do you know what this means? Its means we will be taxed more...or borrow more...
Kenyans, have you asked yourselves why you are paying VAT....fuel levy ba kadhalika zingine that huwa tunatozwa, then here you are being asked to pay for driving on a particular public road?
This particular deal with France is an off-balance sheet deal. This right here is cause for an alarm bell to ring in our minds.
We should be asking ourselves as a people.. where are we headed? Is there anything in this country that you as an individual won't have to pay to use? What's the use of our taxes? Fuel levy? Road levy? Rail levy?
Oh need I remind you that when the government says its going to be a guarantor to this deal, it literally means that it will force Kenyans to use the road just like its doing now with the Embakasi and Naivasha inland depots so that we pay for the SGR loan.
We are a people that are never keen on what's happening. We are okay with letting Uhuru mess us up. As we speak, has anyone of you demanded to see the Nairobi Expressway agreements? Good people, do you know how much we are paying per kilometer for that monstrosity from JKIA to Rironi?
Can the government guarantee availability of traffic for that road?
If anything, the lessons of SGR should and must have served as deterrents when it comes to these white elephants!
Kenyans, before we go on this PPP roads spree...we need to be having a conversation on how to lower the tax rate on fuel, because it doesn't make sense that we should pay akina fuel levies, then pay to use a road, which eventually as Kenyans, we shall be forced to repay France, whether we use it or not.
That is double taxation!
