I think once the plates are assigned to the vehicle, watu hujitengenezea hizi so they start using the vehicles as they wait for the official plates.

They are designated plates, but I think you already know that. You are just muddying the water .

I think once the plates are assigned to the vehicle, watu hujitengenezea hizi so they start using the vehicles as they wait for the official plates.

I have never understood why we always have number plate shortage . Whoever makes them can make many months supply and have them stored somewhere .

All you need is a facilitation fee and yours are released in under three days. I still have the unofficial mabati plates in the boot though.

It's possible to have plates same day . Entry is made Kwa TIMS ,approved and you pick plates from NTSA Upper Hill offices in afternoon . Ukiweka collection ni Mombasa ndio lazima ikuwe next day if you are lucky .
