I find those issues cultural and personal to even comment on specifics. However, we could adopt more sustainable ways of disposing ourselves once we die. I will mandate my family to cremate my remains. But they don't have to do it if they don't want. It will be their ceremony, its they who will be dealing with grief or lack of it.
