- Innovative Kenyans have wracked their brains to create stretch limousines by converting locally available cars.
John Wathanga was among the first Kenyans to convert his Nissan Sunny B14 into a stretch limo.

“Initially this was a Nissan B14 with a 1600cc engine, but we cut it into two, stretched it and using galvanized steel, transformed it into a limousine,” one of the students revealed in a past interview.
The team of three opened up the industry to vehicle enthusiasts who have revolutionised the VIP transport sector.
Some of the vehicles which have been customised into limousines include a Range Rover Sport whose rental fees are Ksh 30,000 per hour.
