The ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi seemingly didn't take well the new rule and had to leave early even before the church finished it's service.
A section of leaders who attended the service condemned his actions.
Francis Atwoli said the rule which bans politicians from addressing the public should extend to burials.
Musalia Mudavadi defended himself and a message from the church said that he had requested to eave early since he had other engagements .

If I was to be allowed, I would say that sapit guy is even worse than huyo mudavadi. Badala ya kuwafukuza huko kanisani ambapo kumejaa koraption vile vile, hio pepo yake ya "holier than thou" ingemwonyesha kuwarai wanasiasa kuwaunganisha wananchi na kuwafanyia kazi, kwani huo ndio wajibu wao! Sasa akiwafukuza kanisani he will be left with ule msemo wa TALKING AT THEM badala ya TALKING TO THEM.
