Make the will public and tell them what to do when you pass on. My grandpa used to tell his sons of what he wanted to happen. He would say "plot ya nyahururu ni ya Mburi", "shamba ya Nakuru ni ya Wanjiru" etc. When you being them together and explicitly tell them what to do and put it in writing, there is very little they can argue about.

Not really. I recently also lost a friend who was returned to Kenya for her funeral despite her nearest and dearest being here where I live. I wondered if it was to avoid conflict with family. With very elderly parents, I could not rationalise the decision to deny her kids easy access to the grave. The expense too. So I decided to be specific on my own matters to avoid confusion or debate when I pass, hopefully in the very distant future.

What is not being said is that once the dad passed on, his businesses no longer enjoyed political patronage and the benefits of stolen money. The basics had to set in at some point.
