what to expect in the papers today:

The Standard
• Uhuru says DP Ruto knew about the handshake… adds that idle youth and tribalism are a time bomb. The DP makes his case against BBI, Raila says ‘Game On’.

• Coronavirus claims its first victim after the reopening of schools… Tononoka High head teacher died yesterday after testing positive together with other teachers a few days back.
• Lawyers fight Bill on CJ recruitment. LSK has opposed the proposal to change the timeline for CJ recruitment to have it start a month earlier than it is supposed to.
Nation-Africa
• Uhuru, Ruto clash: The president tells off the DP for abandoning Jubilee dream, reveals that Ruto was aware of the Handshake. Ruto tears into BBI.
• Here comes the second wave: There are no bed… well, Covid beds, in hospitals.
• Salaries shocker (in BBI I think)… No more sitting allowance… It is about time…
The Star
• Ruto has turned his back on me – Uhuru: The president says they worked well in their first term but the DP has become impatient.

DPP Haji picks holes in ex-Kiambu governor Waititu medical reports. Waititu has been missing court appearances in the name of being sick… It appears the DP thinks he is printing the medical reports on Kirinyaga Road or Rover Road.

The hiring of technical colleges tutors has come under fire. The wrong people (undeserving get the jobs)…
