IMF Loans; Kenyans have the power

Ushawahi kuchukua loan? How would it feel like if kila mtu kwako anapigana nayo? We owe money as a country, we are paying it and that's why we can get more loans.

Mark you, that's the loudest brat you have in the house. Brats that believe they can move tectonic plates with their sheer muscles!
So as long as the loans are being repaid no need to worry?

This is a very small number given the people who have access to internet in Kenya.

But still it's good effort. Peter Kenneth didnt manage to get such votes
I was watching SABC interview of Vusi Thembekwayo, that brilliant entrepreneur and YouTube autoplayed a video of them SA dudes discussing the IMF standoff and online petition by Kenyans. Ikisha fikia CNN, BBC and the likes, the conversation will change for sure.

The conversation can only be sustained when people go to the streets.

Government can pay akina Alai some small money and that trending topic disappears within hours.

but bottom line, still good effort from kenyans

It would be quite something if there was a way to reach the millions on WhatsApp, now that would cause a minor tremor in our political space.

It only needs to be activist-led, twitterbigwigs watatuuza pesa mbili

Naona David Ndii pale on his high horse talking about, "I told you so."
The guy is a brilliant economist but his personality is what makes him less endearing and people end up not listening to him. He is always talking down at people rather than talking to people.
Absolutely correct.
Almost all his economical predictions have come to pass but his high horse personality is so nauseating.
He reminds me of Miguna. The Canadian Barrister had such a well detailed, practical and logical masterplan for county 047 but his abrasive nature meant that it would never see the light of day.

Isn't he right though? He told us from as far back as 2014 but we wouldn't listen.

This is well received. Hayden's comparison answers all

That is what I am saying. He was right. But remember he was also in bed with Raila. So even when he said so many people took it as propaganda.

Now he is on the other side with Ruto saying things against Raila and I can guarantee Raila supporters are not listening to him.

I wish he stood by himself and shed his political image but the guy is elitist and hard headed just like the next politician.

The numbers are commendable considering Kenyans like to bury their heads in the sand
Kenyans are the kind of people who believe in the Swahili adage "akili mjini, nguvu kijijini" that's why you won't see them in violent street protests but they are active in these online petition/tweefs.

Were Maumau heroes like the Shujaa on your dp Kenyans? Did they eventually get fed up and say, "Ferk it, we'd rather die but enough is enough?"

Guess what?

We're headed there, good Sir.

They were not I agree completely with you gentleman, but look yonder at the roundtable feeding trough, do you see them or their descendants?
We learnt a good lesson from our forefathers, never again shall we hold the cows horns, so that others and their children can milk.
