1. Slice open in half using a sharp knife taking care not to cut too deep which will damage the succulent seeds causing a bloody mess.
2. Break the halves further until you get to the white layers concealing the succulent seeds.
3. Gently remove the seeds from the white membrane using your fingers as you would with a maize cob.
Result!...
A full bowl just from two medium sized fruits.
I like to use mine as a garnish for my porridge but you can enjoy them plain straight out of the bowl.
Add a bit of honey or sugar if you please.
Stir it up and enjoy!..
Makes a delicious breakfast especially on a dark,wet cold morning like it is this morning!
Takes some patience but it's better than wasting half of it kuikula kama watu wa Promonagate.
