I once took a tour (not a forced one) huko kwa akina @Pamba 1 ,Parklands police to be specific. I took a few photos, for illustration purposes when I get to engage kids who think D minus is just fine.

Kuna siku nilishikwa. Nikapelekwa police station, nilikuwa nimekataa kutoa pesa.

As I sat there waiting for the cop to come, the OCPD akaingia akanisalimia na kuniuliza natakaje, I was not about to throw myself under the bus, nikasema nangoja corporal rafiki yangu akuje. Finally the dude shows up akakaa chini, akaita madam wa chai and asks me what I want, nikasema niko sawa. Akasema lazima nikunywe chai, atanunua nigwache maringo, hehehe, I almost laughed and I wanted to maintain a stone face. He then ordered the lady to serve me tea na chapati. Btw hio chai ilikuwa on point but too hot!

All along I was wondering what his game plan is...BTW nilikuwa nimecheza kama mimi, I was first 'arrested' by a lady, I sweet talked my way lakini madam akakuwa kichwa ngumu and handed me over to a fellow man to deal with me, again I sweet talked my way, but the lady was adamant na mimi. I got handed over to the third cop, sasa mwenye was buying me tea. Anyway long story short, I ended up parting with 470bob!

The approach our system has, police to civilians, approach ya colonial times.
