Part of the solution would be for people to stop whining like littles bitches about Gavament and to start taking advantage of our excellent roads, widespread (expensive) electricity, world-class Internet, etc to do business. I've met so many Indians who think Kenya is perfect for business and opportunities.

Unlike those muhindis and the chinese, the average Kenyan does not come from money, probably has little to no financial backing and has no business or financial background. They are already at a minus in comparison.

Those who do try to venture into business are met with costly licenses from 10 different agencies, further eating into the little money they have to set up the business.

Once set up, the extortion rackets run by police and regulatory authorities start operating. Unlike the chinese or muhindi who have the backing and protection of their embassies, police can harass Kenyans to the point of killing us if we refuse to part with bribes.

So, the business environment is set up for ordinary Kenyans to fail. Those who have made it are either superb businesspeople or are in bed with the extortionists.
