How Frequent are Power Outages in Your Area?

I'm sure no one can give a precise answer to this question. The answer depends on how well you can recall the last one, which depends on how bad it inconvenienced your life. Maybe this is the reason the power company has never had to face a serious censure over blackouts. About a month ago, I decided to keep a log of all power outages in my area during waking times. And the results are worse than I thought. In that one month, the blackout hours totaled 37.5 hours, which averages to 1.25 hours per day. This is equivalent to 3 daylight days per month, or slightly more than one month per year. Ladies and gentlemen, this figure represents no mean loss to businesses that rely on electricity or to the power company's income. The loss of three working days in a month can mean the difference between profit and closing shop. We could also safely conclude that the power company roughly forfeits 10% of its billing receipts due to power outages. Next, I should be getting a proper data logger that will cover both day and night.

And now a reward for staying with me to the end.

Women with this gap were in much higher demand and commanded a steeper dowry. Inserting the tip of the tongue in that gap during a planned seizure has no equivalent in human experiences.

Yenyewe hii issue ya Kenya Power(less) is serious but the clowns running the company and the Ministry of Energy seem clueless about something called infrastructure maintenance. Near my office there are wires that hit each other causing tu-mini blackouts every time there's a gentle wind. Tumewapigia tumechoka yet all they need to do is to make one saggy wire a bit taut.

I upgraded my small solar setup to 3kW hybrid inverter and 1.245 kW solar .I am currently working on a DIY LiFePo4 battery and by July i will hopefully be 90 % on solar . The upgraded setup has been up and running with live monitoring for the last 11 days and by noon batteries are fully charged and thats why i want to add battery capacity.

Nice, I’ve been meaning to go LiFePO4 for a long time, where did you get the prismatic cells? I tried ordering a few on AliExpress they never arrived, and what grade are they

I gave up getting cells from outside the country . It's almost impossible for end user to buy and ship .Instead I have found a company that deals with e waste recycling locally and they have thousands of 26650 cells .The cells are professionally tested through charge and discharge cycles .I am targeting cells rated 3000mah in 8s to get 24 volts . Give me a few weeks all the other bits zifike and I will share the build .
If you must buy prismatic cells then tupatane pale
https://diysolarforum.com/ here you will get links to reputable prismatic based in China .Shipping utajipanga .
Else enda batteryhookup.com and buy from them and use sea freight from USA with the help of Titan Impex

Thanks for the link. I'm a beginner in solar systems but I have setup a basic system that can run my computer setup. But my main issue with going big with solar is how to get rid of the battery once it's gone

5 major blackouts in the past two weeks where I currently am. Possibly connected to rainfall

The problem with smaller cells is getting to high ampere Hour ratings, in that 8s configuration you get 24v but only 3ah, how are you planning on getting 100ah which I think is more practical for home use
8s50p at 3ah per cell will give me 150Ah case closed.
