Harun Aydin 'deported'.

As required by law, Harun Aydin was to be presented before court today to be charged. (financing terrorism).

But as it was expected, this was nothing but a witch hunt. The government had nothing to charge him with, so he was deported?

According to SC, he was requested to leave the country so the government could save face. I wonder if we have heard the last of this. The Turkish delegation could easily sue but probably wouldn't to avoid hurting relations. Compensation and reparation will probably be handled via back channels.

The Constitution of most countries gives the Presidents or Prime Ministers prerogative on matters National Security. They can have dodgy aliens deported without giving reasons and without due process.
Kenya is no different.
If in doubt ask one Al-Fayed vile alikimbizwa kama umbwa kutoka UK despite his investments of billions of Sterling Pounds.

Where are these provisions in the constitution? All I see is a group of thugs circumventing due process to achieve personal goals and who will be complaining of the same treatment sometime in the future.

Prerogative of the Crown is a Common Law entitlement. It is practiced daily even by the most advanced Democracies.
Why do Kenyans have this mistaken liberal belief that everything the Government does should be in the open - even State Secrets and National Security Issues?

which due process has been circumvented? Already precedent was set from 2013, many laws were broken but the same guys turned a blind to them. Everyone cheered when miguna was manhandled at the airport. Yet he's Kenyan born.

Why are guys defending a Turkish yet can't defend their own? No one has come out to defend the embu brothers, how many switched off their devices yesterday night ?

only that huyu hakufukuzwa nor was he deported, he was basically released to catch his flight back home. There was no case but a cheap publicity stunt

He...he...he unachekesha sometimes @The.Black.Templar.

Before any Country deports and removes you forcibly and with all the attendant embarrassments, they give you a chance to voluntarily leave out of your own volition and with your dignity intact.

When one is deported forcibly, they are sometimes escorted by Security and could even be hand-cuffed.

example of defiance, why should a senior member of national security council apologise to a person declared persona non grata? Why not handle things diplomatically? does it mean all manner of characters will be allowed in the country from next year? ,As second in command why not summon immigration chiefs to explain,or foreign affairs chiefs or just call his boss to find out why? why apologise on behalf of gok yet it's the one acting?
