The reality of the story is in regards to travel restrictions into Saudi.
So Pakistan nationals cannot fly direct into Saudi due to covid restrictions.
They have to transit through a neutral country for 14 days to be allowed entry into Saudi.
It's not only Saudi, but some countries have the same rules for people coming from what are considered covid high risk countries.
Instead of playing PR, govt should find a way to tap into this by creating travel packages and allocate hotels that will cater to this.
Maldives was doing it at the height of covid, as it was one of the few safe countries.
Currently some Pakistani guys must be making a killing.

But it should be done in a very stringent way that it does not risk us getting Covid-19 variants from other countries. That means that those foreigners stay in their hotel rooms at all times and do not interact with staff and other Kenyans.
They should have tested negative before being allowed in and should be tested regularly to ensure that we do not expose ourselves to the pandemic.

We should be aware that if this arrangement is abused as we are apt to, Kenya will once again be red-listed by UK and EU making it difficult for Kenyans to travel and trade.

This is a good source of dollar into the country. This guys jave to sleep somewhere,eat & drink,sight seeing etc it just has to be monitored.
