False terror threat to rob bank.

*SUBJECT: TERROR THREAT*
It was reported by one Carolyne Mwimbi service manager KCB Utawala branch that today at 1000hrs she received an envelope while at the bank from a rider namely Joseph Njoroge Wainaina aged 25 years who informed her that it was a loan application form.upon opening it,it was a 48 paged exercise book .Upon opening the first page,it was indicated *Terror Attack*.the message demanded the KCB bank utawala to give out 18 million Kenya shillings and deposit the same near street house at Benedicta area, failure to which he alleged there were 7 high explosive bombs that will be detonated at Magunas supermarket that is about one and half kilometers from the bank, if the demand are not met. Also cautioned the bank not to report to any security agency or media services.The bank manager informed the police officers who were guarding the bank about the threats.The officers immediately arrested the rider who had brought the envelope and escorted him to Embakasi A Campus where the suspect was handed over to the field officer CI John Odhiambo who then reported the same to the college commandant.After interviewing the suspect,ATPU Nairobi area were alerted.ATPU Nairobi area immediately rushed to National police college Embakasi A campus and collected suspect so as to assist investigation.other officers from Embakasi police station joined them and proceeded to the bank.Later on,deputy Ocpd Kayole,Dcio Kayole and the team,OCS mihango and the team,k9 explosive sniffer team and bomb disposal unit joined and proceeded to magunas supermarket for search.the supermarket was evacuated and thorough search was conducted.Nothing was detected.The suspect and exercise book handed over to ATPU Nairobi area for further investigation.Still police officers on the ground.case pui.ATPU dealing.
