Nothing has changed to make me optimistic. My assessment is that the economy will stagnate or even decline. There are global financial problems, it's not an issue that would be fixed by changing the government in Kenya. Those guys that promised the masses milk and honey waliwakosea.

It is just that raila supporters want to see people suffer, so they will feed people with fake information that was never communicated in the first place. You saw them celebrating increase in fuel expecting the the mama mboga will suffer even more when the matatu fair is increased by 30% which has not happened

We need to go back to the drawing board, it is either drought or floods. We changed our seed to genetically narrow hybrids that can't grow without high fertizer application. We thought food security is not a matter of national security it is just bizness, therefore we looked at galana project as just another bizness. Time to kick out this bizness mentality when it comes to matters of security, health, food, and transport. These are sectors that we should not care how much effort we put in. Our farmers are trapped with commercial hybrids, the climate change is here, rains are unpredictable. When we were growing up we would select seeds for planting ourselves from the previous harvest, some maize stalks were as sweet as sugarcane. Some would grow in 3, 4,5 months in the same field.
Nobody wants to see anyone suffer. But truth cannot be hidden.
