I am looking for contacts/directions where i can buy an electric scooter in nairobi.
while i dont know the specifications or how to specify; i want something cost effective.
so say range; 50-100km. Power usage say 1.5-2 units of electricity for about 100km of charge.
should be able to carry some little luggage about 10kg

last thing, information on licensing and insurance requirements.

Thank you in advance

When looking for anything in this country, your first stop should be jiji.co.ke
I would recommend something like the picture below. This type does not need any licensing, it is rugged, more efficient and, most importantly, light.

Hizi huwa popular sana in China especially major cities that don’t allow fuel ran motorbikes.
Lakini they are not very powerful especially kwa mlima but they usually have option ya pedals so you can cycle ikikwama.
