Donald Trump leading in US Presidential race - poll

Former United States Of America Donald Trump has a higher chance of returning to the White House, a new survey conducted by Wallstreet Journal ahead of party primaries shows.

In the polls, Trump is leading by 47 per cent, this is way ahead of the current president Joe Biden who stands at 43 per cent.

Another research conducted by Pew Research shows that Trump is the most popular candidate among Republicans, with 52 per cent recognising Trump as the next president of the United States.

63 per cent of the Republican voters have high hopes for Trump to push for their agendas and policies once elected as President, and at the same time, 64 per cent of the voters have distrust in the current president, Biden.

Similarly, according to the poll conducted by the Washington Post, it states that a huge number of Democrats(Biden's party) are less enthusiastic about the current president being re-elected.

In another poll conducted last week, states that a third of members of the Democratic Party will be dissatisfied if American President Joe Biden is on the upcoming election ballot, a new poll has shown.

The democrats have attributed their choice to hiked prices of the commodities, and skyrocketing cost of living at the ongoing Gaza -Israel war.

"We have a president whose policies are mainly overseas, and has more say than here in the country."

However, 46 per cent of American residents still have faith in Joe Biden and his policies, and believe he'll win the primaries, and eventually be at the ballot.

Biden is a member of the Democratic Party and has through his political career remained loyal to the party.

In January 2024, the Republicans and Democrats will go for primaries and nominate candidates who will be on the ballot ahead of the November 2024 elections.

Political analysts in the country say Biden will have to push further to convince the nationals following the deteriorating economy.

And they are doing everything they can to prevent him from running. Imagine removing someone's name from the ballot in the name of 'democracy'
