Suna East Member of Parliament Junet Mohamed has revealed the strategy his party (ODM) seeks to use to win in the 2022 general elections.

Junet says that more interesting days are coming ahead, saying that things will soon change when his camp decides that it is the right time to kick off campaigns for the 2022 presidential contest.

He told The Standard that they will soon be coming up with the mother of all alliances, one that will sweep across the country, taking everybody with it.
“We are coming up with a mother of all political coalitions for the 2022 elections... Our slogan is gather all, scatter none,” the National Assembly Minority Whip is quoted.

He has also revealed that they will be holding major rallies beginning March 1 to drum up support for the constitutional changes contained in the BBI bill ahead of the referendum set for June.

On Monday, he was among the leaders who were hosted by COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli, a meeting also attended by Raila.

Atwoli said that the team, which also included Jubilee Party Vice Chair David Murathe and former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth, received reports from county assemblies ahead of today's vote on the BBI bill.

Murathe is among allies of Uhuru who have been claiming that he will join hands with Raila in 2022 with the intention of having him (Raila) succeed him.

Uhuru, however, remains silent on his preferred successor. Raila has also not come out to publicly declare his interest yet.
The alliance, says the close ally of Raila, who is being seen as the man whose fifth candidature is being supported, is the one that will produce the person who will succeed Uhuru Kenyatta.
