like @Kabuda said earlier today..in Europe they turn their clocks forward..and back in winter.. for so called daylight saving hours..
Back in the day.. @emali was a young fella from the villages just landed in europe.. me together with my fellow villagers from Africa were having a good time..
basi nikapatana siku moja na manyanga... tukapendana sana... this was on a friday..... she was working on the next Saturday so tukaamua tupatene next sunday saa saba.. back then mobile phones weren't common so when you made a date a for 1300..you had to be there for 1300..esp being a very cold country .. on the same date I showed up 10 min to 1300 hrs at our agreed spot.. she never showed up... later on I learned because of changing times in the spring.. I had actually arrived at 1350..not 1250..

So many jokes were played on us when we were newbies and I was getting really fed up.
So when someone said that the clocks were changing I was like yeah..whareeever..
Needless to say I was an hour late for work.
Back then we used to work as chambermaids in central London, fast paced, and an hour of not making beds made a big difference... I sweated.
