AT 1526HRS. NO. 114068 PC VINCENT LANGAT WAS TODAY ARRESTED FOR THE OFFENCE OF MURDER CONTRARY TO SECTION 203 AS READ WITH SECTION 204 OF THE PENAL CODE. THIS IS AFTER AN INQUIRY BY IPOA IN RAMASHA POLICE STATION, MASABA SOUTH SUBCOUNTY AND THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE ODPP VIDE ODPP LETTER ODPP/CAM/1/1409 DATED 5TH APRIL, 2022. THE BRIEF NARRATION IS THAT ONE CHARLES ONDITI OMWANCHA IS SAID TO HAVE BEEN ASSAULTED ON THE 19/02/2019 AT RAMASHA TRADING CENTRE, KISII COUNTY AND LATER SUCCUMBED OF HIS INJURIES ON 1ST MARCH 2019. THE OFFICER HAS BEEN ESCORTED TO KISII P/ STN AND TO APPEAR BEFORE KISII HIGH COURT TOMORROW TUE 21ST.

They forced the school Director to withdrawal the money from M-pesa in order to release the reportee (.) They were given the said amount and they released him (.) Today No. 256269 APC Abel Cheruyot Bukut stationed at Kanyonyo Admnistration Police Training School in Kitui and No. 256580 APC Neville Kwemoi Chekech stationed at Nandi East.They are althletees based at Kibiko Training Camp.Booked for the offence of Demanding Money with Menaces contrary to section 302 of the penal code (.) case PUI (.)
