An Administration Police (AP) constable was Saturday, June 18, arrested in Kyanguni, Kitui County, by Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) officers from Mutomo for falsely obtaining Ksh250,000 from his colleague stationed at Emali Railway Police Station. Constable Peter Kilonzi Mwove was arrested for obtaining money from Darius Nyamai Kimanzi by pretending he was in a position to influence his transfer to the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK). Officers have since launched investigations, and the constable is expected to be arraigned in court. “The officer was arrested at Kyanguni town for the offence, and he will be arraigned as soon as investigations are complete,” a senior officer told K24 Digital
