Sisemi mtu akule raha. Look for alternative investments. Rents will be depressed for the next 2-3 years, ata land prices will be depressed. If I had cash today, I would buy choice land that's being auctioned all over. I wouldn't build!

If you have to, build a house you can comfortably rent out to afford you rent elsewhere. It is a huge convenience when you are able to choose aspects such as climate, social amenities, road infrastructure, neighborhood etc to suit your current situation.
